Keep each lap beside the full time

Open Stopwatch and press Start for a run, rehearsal or focused work session. Space pauses and resumes the clock. The online stopwatch calculates elapsed time from the browser's saved start point, not by counting screen refreshes. The two decimal digits show hundredths of a second; they do not guarantee measurement accuracy.

Lap stores the latest split and the full time since the start. Press L after each round to compare your pace. R resets the active measurement but keeps the list; Clear removes those entries. Switching modes, reloading or closing the page clears the records.

Switch to a fixed finish

To set a timer, choose Countdown and enter hours, minutes and seconds, or pick a preset. The allowed range is one second to 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds. A recipe, exam section or exercise break usually needs only the minute field. The online countdown timer locks the duration while running. Restart repeats the same interval; pause and edit the fields to choose another.

Try a short run before relying on sound. A hidden tab may stop refreshing, delaying the finish alert until you return. Device sleep can also affect elapsed time. For an important reminder, use a device alarm instead of leaving this online timer unattended. Durations and lap records are processed on this page and are not saved between sessions.

Elapsed time uses a saved start point, but device sleep can affect the measurement. Background updates and the finish alert may be delayed. Use a device alarm for important reminders.

The display stops at zero and shows a finished message. A short beep requires device sound and browser permission to play audio. A suspended tab can delay the alert. Restart runs the same duration again.
